Reservations (Before the Test)

Individual examinees should make their test reservations NOT LESS THAN one (1) working day (Monday – Friday) prior to the desired test date.

Individual examinees can reserve test seats based on their preferred dates and times, provided seats are available. The test reservation staff can help you identify available test dates and times.

Individual examinees should be prepared to provide the following information when making a test reservation:
  • ID Number (National ID – 13 digits – if a Thai Citizen; Passport number for non-Thai applicants)
  • Full Name in English (First and Last names)
  • Date of Birth (Month/Day/19YY)
  • Local Contact telephone number (landline or mobile)
  • Test Date requested
  • Test Time requested (09:00 or 13:00 are our normal test times, you will be informed if additional test administrations are being offered).
Individuals reserving a test seat under the auspices of an organization should inform the reservations staff at the time of the call.

Examinees may call to change or cancel a reservation, but they must do so at least one working day prior to the original test date. Failure to cancel a reservation will result in an administrative fee of Baht 500.00 being added to the fees for the next test.

Test reservations sent by email must contain all of the information required above, however, email reservations will NOT be confirmed by return email. Examinees wishing to confirm an email reservation need to call the reservations line of the Center for Professional Assessment.

Registration (On the Test Date)

Individual examinees should appear at the test site not less than one (1) hour prior to their scheduled test administration to complete the test registration process.

Examinees MUST bring their ORIGINAL ID card (National ID, or Passport for Thai citizens; Passport for non-Thai examinees) when they register for a test. The Center will NOT accept photocopies of documents (in any form, certified or otherwise) in place of originals. While other OFFICIAL identification cards MAY be accepted as proof of identity for test registration purposes at the discretion of the Registration Official, Score Reports will NOT be released without the ORIGINAL Thai National ID, or National Passport being presented at the time of Score Pick-Up.

Test fees MUST be paid on the date of the test as part of the test registration process. The Center only accepts Cash (Thai Baht, or US Dollars), or Vouchers issued by a sponsoring organization as payment. Credit Cards, Debit Cards, or other foreign currencies are not accepted.

Examinees who require an OFFICIAL RECEIPT must request one on payment of the test fee. Official Receipts may be picked up immediately at the end of the test session. Receipts will NOT be sent via EMS with test score reports. The Center cannot produce Official Receipts after the test date. Examinees requesting a receipt after the test date will be issued an unofficial receipt ONLY.

Registration for each administration closes on the hour (09:00 and 13:00 for our normal test schedules) and any available seats are released to Standby examinees at that time. Examinees who have made a reservation, but who do not appear prior to the scheduled test time and whose seats have been released to a standby will be treated as NO SHOW examinees and an administrative fee of Baht 500.00 will be added to their next test fee.

No electronic equipment of ANY kind is allowed in the test room. This includes any mobile phones, PDAs, computers, recording devices, cameras, electronic auto security devices, or any other equipment, electronic or not, that the Center staff identifies as being prohibited.

In the Test Room (During the Test)

Test takers will be required to take the seats assigned to them by the test room proctors. Test takers may not move seats on their own. If a test taker changes his/her assigned seat, without obtaining permission from a test room proctor, that test taker's Answer Sheet will not be scored. Fees for Answer Sheets that are not scored due to a violation of test room policies are not refunded. The test taker risks being banned from future testing if such violations are determined to have occurred..

Test takers are expected to focus their testing on their own test books and Answer Sheets. Attempting to obtain responses from another test taker's Answer Sheet will result in that test taker's Answer Sheet will not be scored. Fees for Answer Sheets that are not scored due to a violation of test room policies are not refunded. The test taker risks being banned from future testing if such violations are determined to have occurred.

Once a test taker has entered the the test room he/she will be required to remain in the test room until the end of the test time. Test taker's requiring a toilet break must raise their hand and request permission from a test room proctor before leaving their seat. Test room proctor's may require the test taker to wait until someone is available to escort them to the nearest toilet before leaving their seat. The test taker will not be allowed to make up any lost time for any breaks taken during an ongoing test. Test takers who complete the test before the scheduled end of the test administration will be required to remain in the test room until the test time ends and all materials have been collected by the proctors. The Answer Sheet for any test taker who leaves the test room without permission of a proctor, or before the test time is completed  will not be scored. Fees for Answer Sheets that are not scored due to a violation of test room policies are not refunded. The test taker risks being banned from future testing if such violations are determined to have occurred.

The test ends when the test room administrator announces the end of the test. Test takers are required to out down their pencils and close their test books when instructed to do so by a test room administrator or proctor. The Answer Sheet for any test taker who fails to down their pencil and/or close their test book when instructed to do so by a test room Administrator or proctor will not be scored. Fees for Answer Sheets that are not scored due to a violation of test room policies are not refunded. The test taker risks being banned from future testing if such violations are determined to have occurred.

Quality Control

The Center for Professional Assessment feels that it is responsible to guarantee the quality of every test score before it is released. In some situations examinees may be requested to present themselves to a representative of the Center to review their score results. This may include being required to sit for an interview in English.

Should the Center deem that the test score result is not a true reflection of the examinee’s level of language ability, the examinee may be offered the opportunity to test again, without charge.

Score Reports will not be issued to any examinee refusing to comply with these requests.

Security Related

Personal Items

While shelf space for items (purses, bags, computers, telephones, etc) is available outside of the main test room near the Cashier Counter, the Center for Professional Assessment does not accept responsibility for any items left unattended and does NOT provide secure facilities for such items.

Examinees are required to undergo a security check prior to entering the test room. Any examinee refusing to submit to a security check will not be permitted to enter the test room and their test fee will not be returned.

Personal Behavior

Any examinee found, or suspected to be cheating during a test administration may be asked to leave the test room and test fees will not be refunded.

Any examinee deemed by the Center staff to be acting in a disruptive manner may be asked to leave the premises immediately. The disruptive individual may be banned from any future testing.
