Indonesia Study Tour
Finalists Announcement
After sitting for the TOEIC test and
attending a 5-day training at Khaoyai, Nakhon Ratchasima, all of the Teacher
Development Program II (TDPII) participants were invited to present pilot project proposals at the offices of the Cooperation Bureau, Office of Vocational
Education Commission proposals on February 25, 2010.
At that meeting the participants’
initial proposals were reviewed and critiqued. Based on their performance during the training and in depth reviews of their proposals
we are ready to announce the six (6) finalists eligible to receive scholarships for a 5-day study tour in Indonesia sponsored by the Center for Professional
Assessment (Thailand). The six finalists are:
- Ajarn Chanagarn Jitmano --- Petchburi College of Agriculture and Technology
- Ajarn Kritsarusak Ukottrakul--- Pattani Vocational College
- Ajarn Panjun Punyasim --- Loei Technical College
- Ajarn Panworn Boonprasertpon --- Pichit Technical College
- Ajarn Phimpicha Poonprasit --- Udornthani Vocational College
- Ajarn Sasiwimon Naowaratana --- Hat Yai Technical College
The finalists are requested to submit a 300-word essay in English and a resume in English to CPA (Thailand) as part of
their acceptance of the scholarship. The essay should outline what knowledge or activities from the TDP II training the individual plans to share with their Indonesian
colleagues and what they hope to bring back as a result of the study tour.

Failure to receive the essays or resumes
from selected participants by the March 19, 2010 deadline will be regarded as declining participation in the Indonesia Study
Tour.
We want
to thank all of the participants for putting so much of their time and effort
into making this Second Teacher Development Program Workshop a success.
We hope
that those who were not selected for the Indonesia Study Tour trip will still
move forward on their project ideas and put to use what you gained from the TDP
training and the project development process.
