As part of the Teacher Development Program (TDP) conducted by the Office of Vocational Education Commission (OVEC), Ministry of Education and the Center of Professional Assessment (Thailand), TDP participants at Hat Yai Technical College launched their own Extended Teacher Development Program (ETDP).

TDP Indonesia Study Tour

After handing in proposals to the Bureau of Cooperation, the Office of Vocational Education Commission and the Center of Professional Assessment (Thailand), 5 TDP participants were selected to go on to the next stage of the project - the Study Tour, which was sponsored by CPA (Thailand). The participants spent 7 days in Indonesia, each in different vocational schools, to observe and exchange their points of view with the Master English Teachers (MET) in those schools.

The Teacher Development Program (TDP) is a special project co-sponsored by the Center for Professional Assessment (Thailand) or CPA, and the Office of Vocational Education Commission (OVEC), Ministry of Education. The aim of this project is to increase the English language proficiency of both teachers and students in vocational schools in the hope of being able to better prepare students for entry into the workforce.
